U.S. Businesses Give Only Limited Consideration to Choice of Web Address Jan. 24 Chesterbrook, PA -- 1&1 Internet, Inc’s survey of 1074 businesses reveals the average business spends less than 12 hours selecting a domain name. 42% spent less than 1 hour. 58% later had to modify their domain 37% believe sales revenue would improve as a direct result of a change in web address.
